LAS VEGAS WEDDING CAKE

This lady had seen this cake in Las Vegas and wanted it recreated - it was my biggest challenge yet and each tier as a third taller to give it a huge presence.  Even though a challenge I enjoyed every minute of it.  This cake received the most comments on facebook and I think it may be one of the biggest I've done to date.  It was delivered to Swinfen hall in 3 pieces and put together on site...

HICKORY DICKORY DOCK

I loved doing this for this little girl's first birhday - hence the clock being shaped into a number one.  The little girl's mother loved it and I received quite a lot of comments on facebook - children's cakes are always so cute to do!

WEDDING CUPCAKES

I had been asked to provide a number of cupcakes to Rina Roberts Bridalwear for their first anniversary since opening.

GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Again a 12" cake which I think is a superb size for this occasion.  Decorated with gold roses to encompass the golden anniversary theme.

CARAVAN

This caravan was the gentleman's caravan and where he spends a lot of breaks at.  It was all fruit and I know that they are still working their way through it....

CUPCAKE TOWER

This was delightful in that there were 50 cupcakes 25 of which had delicate pink roses and green leaves.  The top tier had sage green butterflies dotted about.  I received a lovely thank you card advising that this was exactly what they wanted. 

PURPLE ROSES CASCADING WEDDING CAKE

This I thought was a beautiful colour and thoroughly enjoyed creating deep purple roses.  The couple also wanted the writing that had been inscribed onto their rings on the board.....

A VARIETY OF CUPCAKES

Just a small order of 6 cupcakes for someone that was leaving for a new job.  The ideas were left to me so I tried to incorporate his favourite things and a work theme.

ENGAGEMENT CAKE WITH YELLOW DETAIL

A good size for this type of party - a 12" square.  The lady's mother had asked for yellow roses and writing and I decided to incorporate a yellow bow at the front also.

RUBY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Not the usual request for a wedding anniversary cake, but a quirky personal one where the couple were sitting on a blanket.  I incorporated the ruby colour where possible. The couple were said to be thrilled.  

ROSES AND PEARLS WEDDING CAKE

This wedding cake was an absolute delight to do as I loved the roses and pearls theme.  When delivered it went so well within the marquee as roses and pearls were everywhere...

LOCAL TEAM FOOTBALL SHIRT

Again, this shirt was requested with only 3days to spare, the lady was very pleased that I could and was thrilled when it was more or less a replica of the shirt....

BLACK SHEEP OF THE FAMILY!

This lady wanted sheep grazing in the hills but wanted a black sheep to be present!  Bless....

IRISH RUGBY SHIRT

This gentleman was very pleased as I managed to fit it in for him within a few days.  I was told that it went down a storm.

UNDERGROUND CREEPER

This cake was Betsie's favourite shoe!  I believe I did it justice and was eaten in a flash.

CHILDREN'S CAKES

Lovely heart fruit cake with a spray of love hearts and stars, painted with edible silver.

This was a delightful 2D cake to do for a regular customer of mine, every year I have produced a different cake for this little boy.

PRINCESS DOLL CAKE

A real girly cake to do in the shape of a doll - complete with the little girl in question's upper body with tiara. The little girl was in awe of it and nibbled on the top off for days I was told, bless.

MINI MOUSE CUPCAKES

A delightful cupcake order for a little girl who was one. Top 6" tier complete with 35 cupcakes carrying on the mini-mouse theme.

NEWCASTLE FOOTBALL SHIRT

Yet another football shirt - but Newcastle this time - at least I get a variety albeit everyone so different top do. I always have to check to see if I have the latest shirt though!

For someone that likes to watch a lot of TV - and for someone that was of an age that remembered the test card!

BLOSSOM WEDDING CAKE

An understated wedding cake in ivory accompanied by blossom on each tier. Designed for a bride and groom to sit on top but of course could be place with initials, love hearts or anything else that a special couple make require.

TWINS CHRISTENING CAKE

A delightful cake to do which was the top tier of a wedding cake that I had covered previously. Obviously twins boy and girl and incorporated both colours for the ribbon.

A surprise for my brother in law who has a car washing business.

IRIS CAKE

This lady wanted her mom's favourite flower - the iris.

MINI CAR

This cake was a surprise for a lady who had a white mini on order. I was advised that she was extremely pleased and made her even more excited to receive the real thing.

JOHN SMITHS BEER CAN

For a lovely lady who liked her John Smiths! Made from sponge and hand painted to make the silver shine (all edible). The restaurant was impressed and asked for my details.

IRISH RUGBY SHIRT CAKE

A racing green shirt illustrating the irish logos in plain sponge. I have done a number of sport shirts now and each and every one is a joy to do.

ENGAGEMENT CAKE ON A ROCK

A slightly different cake in that this request was on top of a rock as the man in question proposed in New York on top of Rockafella

ELVIS

Elvis himself sitting proudly beneath one of his records accompanied by musical notes and records. Apparently an Elvis impersonator actually presented the cake which went down a storm.

CHRISTMAS ELVES

This lovely little 6" xmas cake was one of two. A cake for each set of parents. Sponge with chocolate flavoured covering on the outside dusted with icing sugar.

This birthday boy is mad on his PSP and never puts it down so I thought of placing an actual picture of him on the cake also....

GERBERA CUPCAKES

This was a christmas wedding cake order and the gerberas were individually made and wired placed gently on the top with the ribbon cascading down the front.

PRINCESS CASTLE

This castle was up on a hill. It was two cakes, the bottom tier being plain sponge the castle being chocolate.

RED AND WHITE CUPCAKE

Cupcakes with a red flower was the theme but were plain and chocolate in flavour.

CRAFTER GUITAR

This is the 3rd guitar that I have done, and everyone of them have been different. This one was for my dad's 60th.

This young lady wanted a black and white theme which incorporated a spray of black and white feathers.

Woody from the Toy Story - another favourite character and is the 3rd cake I've done for this little boy, one for every birthday so far....

BIG IVORY ROSES

This lady wanted her wedding cake to be all ivory accompanied by 3 big roses on the top, with one on the side and one of the base.... each tier was different in flavour, madeira, chocolate, lemon and carrot.
